Read ACaFSA's Submission to the NDIS Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

 Australian Child and Family Supports Alliance (ACaFSA) – a national collaborative of leaders and subject matter experts working to ensure every child and family can access an integrated, inclusive and effective support system, wherever they live, learn and play in Australia. With 70+ organisations and representation across all eight Australian States and territories ACaFSA  know the right supports at the right time are critical and can make a profound difference to a child's trajectory. 

ACaFSA provides strategic advice, sector leadership and system-level influence to support the design and implementation of a truly joined-up child and family support system across Australia.

The ACaFSA NDIS Advocacy group are a subset of the group focused on ensuring children and families receive the best possible supports through the NDIS.   • Easy access to supports for children and families
  • Recognise the impact of complexity and vulnerability for some cohorts and build plans to be responsive to needs
  • Invest in the workforce for stability and quality
  • Maintain flexible funding and assessment processes
  • Protect Social and Community Participation supports
  • Require best practice supports be delivered at all times
  • Transparent governance and stewardship of the NDIS
