Best practice information sheets

Choice and control starts with being well informed, these resources can be used as a starting point.

When choosing the right ECI supports for your child and family, it is important to be aware of what to look for.

In order to get the best outcomes for your child, ECI providers should be using practices that are grounded on the latest evidence-based research.

The series of information sheets are based on the National Guidelines of Best Practice in ECI, which are evidence-based and adopted by the NDIS as the way ECI services should be delivered for children aged birth to 9 years.

These information sheets have been designed to provide you with information about each of the best practice principles and what to look for in a high quality service.

Choice and control starts with being well informed, so please use these resources as a starting point.
